The RX650 is a solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 1994. It was produced in Korea as part of the entry level RX series. Two distinct versions of the RX650 were produced for the US and European markets.
The US-spec RX650 features a light American maple body and chrome hardware. The European version has an alder body and gold hardware. Both versions have a flame maple top and a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard which is bolted to the body with a traditional metal plate. Components include a synchronized tremolo bridge and white Ibanez Axis pickups in an HSH configuration which are mounted to a white pickguard. The humbucker can be coil-tapped for a single-coil like tone.
The RX350 is a similar model without the exotic top.
The RX650 was discontinued after 1995.
