The GRG270B is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2004. It was made in Indonesia as part of the entry-level GIO line.
The GRG270B features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include Ibanez Powersound pickups with a pair of humbuckers mounted in pickup rings flanking a single-coil, an ILT1 double locking tremolo bridge and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2007 the bridge was changed to the Edge III. It was again changed to the Standard DL tremolo in 2013.
The GRG270 is a similar model which was made in China and can be distinguished by its fretboard binding.
The GRG207B was discontinued after 2014.
